Every day I drive home I see this memorial on the side of the road in Avalon Park. You see many of these on the roadside in the form of crossses or posts surrounded by colorful flowers and wreaths, and to be honest, I never think twice about them. But it’s something about the grimy and weather-beaten stuffed animals that made me stop and take these pictures.
Sometimes you gotta do something for yourself.

University of Central Florida students protest the Iranian election in front of the Student Union on Tuesday. The impromptu rally is only one of the many opposition protests going on around the world in response to the Iranian government’s announcement of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s reelection.
In Iran, foreign journalists were banned from taking photographs of opposition rallies and were confined to their offices and hotel rooms. Early Tuesday morning, Iranian officials announced that they will not extend the visas of foreign media—forcing journalists to catch the next flight out of the country, according to The Associated Press.
